Eames RAR in Red
Eames RAR chair illustration in yellow and red limited edition print.
Charles and Ray Eames were husband and wife American designers who were responsible for groundbreaking contributions in the field of architecture, furniture design, industrial design, manufacturing and the photographic arts. Designed in 1950, the RAR (Rocking Armchair Rod Base) is a variation of the Eames’ DSR chair. The addition of maple runners replicates the traditional American rocking chair in the materials of mid-century modernism: plastic and chrome.
